Jennie Hartranft

Registered Yoga Teacher

I began my yoga journey in 1998, practicing semi-regularly until 2008 when I fell in love with power yoga. After finding a local 200-hour yoga teacher training program, I became a registered yoga teacher (RYT) in 2010. Since my RYT certification, I have been teaching at local gyms, studios, and even for my colleagues.

Even before I was serious about yoga, I saw its physical benefits. My weight remained steady, my flexibility improved and my strength increased. Now, I use yoga as a tool for self-awareness & authenticity, as well as enjoying the physical benefits. No matter what workout, sport, or life challenge is in front of me, I always find something in yoga that propels me through each trial.

When I am not on the mat, I can be found in a high school classroom teaching math. Yoga has been essential to helping me enjoy my other pastimes of gardening, stand-up paddle boarding and pole fitness. Some of my favorite yoga practice partners are my two children, husband, and sometimes even our Great Dane.

Yoga has taught me that I am stronger than I think, and anything is possible one breath at a time. I am so excited to help others discover their most authentic self through yoga.
